Toro Town Storyworks is based in Hillsborough, North Carolina, and was founded in Durham. It is the one-man creative army of Mikkel Elbech.

Born in Denmark, he started his career as a music journalist in 2006, quickly combining it with work as a photographer.

He earned his Master's Degree in Aesthetics & Culture from Aarhus University with a supplementary degree in journalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism.

Since 2010, he has worked for Have Communications, Scandinavia's leading communications agency within arts & culture, currently holding the title of Senior Creative Strategist & Copywriter.

After having relocated to America in 2016, Toro Town Storyworks is the direct continuation of the professional efforts carried out over the preceding ten years in Denmark.
